Debbie Seresky, a graduate of University of Rochester and an experienced educational consultant, has been working with Schoolsearch since 2005. She is passionate about partnering with students and their families to personalize the independent school search and application process, transforming what can often feel overwhelming into an experience of discovery, growth, and self-confidence.

As the parent of three children, Debbie understands firsthand the importance of recognizing each child’s unique strengths, interests, and goals in order to identify the educational environment where they will thrive. She approaches every student as an individual, carefully guiding families toward schools that are the right academic, social, and personal fit.
Debbie is dedicated to supporting students throughout the process while fostering self-esteem and confidence along the way. By breaking the school search into manageable steps, she helps families reduce stress, stay organized, meet deadlines, and navigate the process with greater ease and success.
In addition to her consulting work, Debbie oversees the scheduling and administration of all ISEE and SSAT exams, working flexibly to accommodate students’ schedules and needs.
Committed to ongoing professional development, Debbie completed the IECA Summer Training Institute for Educational Consultants, attended the UC Irvine Independent Educational Consultant Certificate Program, and regularly participates in conferences and enrichment opportunities to stay informed about current educational trends. She also conducts school visits on an ongoing basis to maintain firsthand knowledge of schools and programs.
Debbie’s passion for educational consulting was inspired by her mother, Midge Lipkin, a highly respected independent educational consultant who worked in the field for more than 45 years. Debbie had the privilege of working alongside her mother as both a mentee and business partner for a decade, continuing a legacy of helping students and families navigate important educational decisions.
Her three grown children attended independent schools in the Boston area and have all graduated from college. Outside of work, Debbie enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, traveling with her husband and friends, golfing, playing canasta and Mah Jongg, and streaming the latest shows.
